I love the earthlings as a band for Ed. They are so much more nimble.

Just watched the first track, ill Be Waiting, which has taken on a new life. I love it as al ittle adorable cute number but this sounds great.

Hopefully this is the right thread… DTE had to be the best original video the band ever produced. The McFarlane animation is unreal.

Agreed.
Shame the "HD" video still looks pixelated on the SVT blu-ray.

Here's a thing I didn't know happened -- Bill Frisell playing "Crazy Mary" with PJ live in 2005 (jump to about 35:30).

I always wished Pearl Jam had been more interested in making music videos. They had a good eye for visuals with their early liner notes. I think, starting with the Avocado album, they seemed to stop caring about liner note art, too.

Woah, nor me!

I know he played on Earth's The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull around that time too, which is another pairing that spins me out.

Bill was a Seattle resident back then, so I guess he crossed paths with those guys a bit.

That was a very cool guitar solo on Crazy Mary.

It's too bad there isn't a better recording of this show. But that was still awesome despite the sound quality. Great Parting Ways, too.
