I liked LB ok at the time, but Gigaton was so good it really made LB seem awful. And I think in retrospect LB feels like an album that added very little to the discography (maybe the least of any album they ever made? Right with Riot Act). Backspacer is probably more effective at what it wants to be.

Album reveal details imminent. I have been told by someone close to the band that will be partnering Target and CVS pharmacy. With covid booster you will receive an app that will send you on a scavenger hunt in the store. The hunt will have you buy 12 general mills products after which you will unlock a decoder on the app . You will then scan the bar codes to reveal a link to a Facebook page of a Mrs Mills. Mrs Mills will send you a friend request. After excepting the request you will sent an audio file with a snippet of a song the more snippets you get the more songs you will complete. So with enough general mills purchases you will be able to hear the album. First person to unlock the album also wins a 10club membership

Ok spoiler alert. Do not read any further if you are trying to avoid spoilers. I know this guy that works in the industry. I can use his name but some of you would know his name if you heard it. It doesn't ryme with fret though. So he got a listen from a Person he knows that is entrench in the PJ camp. Obviously this his take but it is a full day after the listen. It is also important to note PJ while apart of his life in ways from a business standpoint is not necessarily his cup of tea. I mean he likes them enough, but not enough to tattoo Gtf on his forearm or Swallowed Whole on any other appendages. These were his take aways from his listen. He felt the fist song was super strong. He compared it to early Rush he said kind of like Working Man but with more of a Pink Floyd sheen. He is a guitar player and felt a fender 6 or a danelectro long horn bass was used for the intro riff which reminded him of Helter Skelter. He really couldnt nail lyrics but said the vocals were strong but was jarred by the lack of verse chorus structure. He concluded that the song felt like 3 bridges separated by 2 bass solo and a dark vibe. The second song he noted reminded him of a song on Tust called It ain't that funny is it. He said this second track may only be 1minute long. He remembers a song he calls When I Held a Hand. He noted it really stood out and was very much like Yellow Ledbetter in the way it was Hendrix like. He did mention that the album had more of that Go and Animal vibe. It said it was down right funky at times. He thinks it will be well received. Oh and duet that he thinks was Stone and Mike or Stone and Matt . He could not remember a song call Why Can't You See. Then he remembered White Men Sneeze are realized he probably heard it wrong said it was a STBC kinda song.

I think Storms is where it is at. As far as Stevies songs I think Lindsey should get a lot of credit especially on Storms. John and Christy really are important to Angel. Lindsey stuff on Tusk all is great but almost seems more like solo stuff
