Chris Ryan mentioned Empty Country on The Watch the other day. Hadn't heard of him/them.

Spun this year's Empty Country II and I fucking loved it. Highly recommend.

i was thinking about what my top albums would be for this year, and i'm struggling. kind of a meh year for music.

I'm not sure I agree 100% with your police work there, Lou....

For me, this has been a great year for music. I'm having a hard time compiling a top albums list because there are like 25 that belong in the top 10!
