I am in the process of recording some vinyl at 24-bit/96KHZ in Soundforge and Audacity. I can record just fine no issues,no issues either when editing, playing back (before encoding) or cutting/splicing. The problem comes in when i try to save them to flac. Both programs convert the wav's to Flac and report no errors, i can even run Flac Frontend and encode with no errors. Its only when i test or playback the errors are apparent. Winamp crashes with unparseable errors or seek table errors. Same with VLC. When i go to 16 bit/anything all works just fine no issues at all. So does anyone have any ideas or tips on what could be causing this issue? I will leave some specs below. If you need more info just ask, i would love to sort this out and get recording this vinyl
