He would randomly attack me by tackling me and trying to choke me. But he was very good looking and i the whole thing was very homoerotic. Any bystanders would just stand there and not do anything. In the end it was very frightening because he cornered me and had a gun. He said “I’ve been waiting for this for a long time” and appeared to pull the trigger but i woke up. Wtf.
I wish I remembered details, but this a movie dream. Late 80's crime drama with Mickey Rourke and three other supporting actors in his group (can't remember if any were real actors), set in a rural area. There were touching moments. The kind of movie characters you care for who are committing crimes for a just cause.
And they say that a hero could save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait
Had a dream where The Beatles were still around, but they were called Beatlz and had replaced one of the members with a SoundCloud rapper. They sucked but we're hugely popular. I was at one of their parties, but some M.U.S.C.L.E.-like toys came to life and started murdering everyone. I hid on top of a bookshelf until the government banned their sale in the US, so they had to leave America.
Last night was crazy. I had like 5 dreams with the same topic. That's never happened before.
The government made this disgusting paste made out of ground up crickets and was pushing it on people to replace food. It was called "Menáge". (I assume my brain stole the name from Dune's spice melange and not "menage a trois")
Anyway people weren't having it, but then the stuff started multiplying on its own. Cricket gruel started appearing everywhere. Eventually it spilled out and covered the earth. In one dream I bought a cool sci-fi tractor thing to remove Menáge from my yard. It had a detachable cockpit so I could roll underneath it and clean off the mechanical parts when it got clogged up with cricket juice.
Anyway that went on all night. There was also some stuff about weed and boiled chicken, but I won't go into that.

I went to the prom but forgot my dress and showed up in jeans, but anyway , there was an AI thing taking everyone's picture and my pic printed out with the name "Pretty, Accurate" . I managed to wake myself up so I could remember that

it usually happens shortly after falling asleep or right before waking up. for me, it's almost always right after i've fallen asleep. i'm usually still in the room i've fallen asleep in, bedside lamp on or off, and it feels like i'm fully awake, but i cannot move no matter how hard i try. it also feels like something is in the room...a presence. it lasts for what feels like a few minutes, and then i wake up.
it's absolutely terrifying. it happened the other night, and it tends to happen every couple of months.

Is this something that happens in dreams or while awake?
