This is really random but my gf is very into the mountain goats so Ive been listening through their discography. I got to Coroner's Gambit which came out in 2000 and oddly it seemed like in some vague way some of it reminded me of Pearl Jam of that era. And I felt like this song has to be the mountain goats song that Eddie would most wish he had written. I could very easily see him covering this. It seems right in his wheelhouse, musically, lol
