The Volume

Post by Ensign9 »

"The Creator" was apparently made on a budget of $86MM and looks better than any MCU, Star Wars, or other effects-heavy movie of the last decade (I think it edges Avatar 2).

Fire everyone associated with The Volume and set it on fire right now.

Is it made in an equivalent to the volume?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

It was shot on location in Thailand and Cambodia, and on sets at Pinewood Studios in the UK.

TBF I don’t think any Star Wars movie has been made in the volume yet, just the TV shows. Not sure about Marvel stuff.

The Volume is just one type of technology, and how you use and write for it makes a huge difference.

Season 1 of the Mandalorian and Avatar 2 and The Batman look amazing.

Ahsoka looks OK, mixed bag at least.

Kenobi, Thor, and Ant-Man seem to be made to demonstrate how not to use it.

Let Gareth Edwards direct all Star Wars shows and movies as long as Tony Gilroy writes them. Boom. You're welcome, Kathy.

Kind of a similar thing with video games this year. Balder's Gate made by a small team for a fraction of the price, and it's putting to shame much larger studios turning out dated crap (*cough*Starfield*cough*)

That turd fire Obi-Wan was nominated for best drama series. These awards mean nothing.
