Literally everyone who enjoys the MCU. It wasn’t targeted at women from any ads/trailers/whathaveyou that I saw in its run-up. It just happens to have all women leads, who are all in the comics as a Marvel, which was the basic idea of the movie they advertised

Nah. There were things like the cat poster.

There wasn't a lot of ads for it at all thought because I think they gave up on it months ago.

The earlier post was more of a prediction about what studios are gonna start pushing in a year or two. Maybe I'm being too optimistic.

I fucking love cats and Goose was a hit character in the first movie. In fact, many guys love cats; that’s not a women thing.

Yes, to marketers it absolutely is. I'm sorry but they did not greenlight a movie starring three women and a female villain to try to appeal to men. This movie is reliant on a female audience.

I think this is a Burt thing, not a Disney marketing thing or any other thing.

I think that’s through your own expectation of a movie lacking a male lead; you originally said it was marketed specifically towards women, but it wasn’t, which doesn’t mean it was marketed towards men. It’s very clearly a “people who watch marvel movies” type of marketing.

People love cats. Impact font memes were literally born from cat pictures on an internet that was dominated by men.

How can you target it at everyone if it has women in it?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Next you'll tell me a movie like Little Women was made because of its appeal to literary fiction fans in general!

The Burtreynolds account currently shocking libtards with the crazy news that movies starring a certain sex usually appeal to that sex more than the other (with a few exceptions like where sexuality is involved), and marketers and producers are well aware of this.

Margot Robbie is hot too, does that mean Barbie was made to appeal to men as much as women?
