If someone could please report back on how this sounds compared to the 2011 and OG pressings, much appreciated.

Re: Vs. 30th Anniversary (Reissue, see page 3)
from the band that has celebrated nostalgia and anniversaries to such an extreme they even celebrate anniversaries of anniversaries, they have….
totally omitted the essence of the 2 best touring years of their most famous period
Dave A is that essence
Krusen on Ten?
who F cares
I wanna see Dave A on Vs.

Would that be due to the much higher quality of the recordings in later years?VinylGuy wrote:as much as i love those years i rarely chose a boot from 93-94

This is a pretty big remix, like ST a few years ago. I'm hearing things I never heard before. The new mix has propelled this album into my top 3 (it was previously my most hated Pearl Jim album)bodysnatcher wrote:If someone could please report back on how this sounds compared to the 2011 and OG pressings, much appreciated.

Re: Vs. 30th Anniversary (Reissue, see page 3)
by contrast, Ed’s hair had entered a very dry, frizzly, almost fro-ey phaseHappy Trees wrote:96583UP wrote:Dave A’s hair looks great in the SNL rehearsal

perhaps there is deeper symbolism to that than we ever realized
yin and yang
contrasting musical forces combining to form one balanced harmony
then eventually Ed saw Dave’s use of VO5 hot oil treatment as a step too far
and he had to remove him
