Just finished playing what may very well be my last ever hoops game tonight. Had a wide open 3 at the end that I clanged so bad. Lost by 10 in the GF too. Damn.

At 52 I don't need to be playing full games anymore, and that's how it's been the past season because of dramas getting regular players. Same again tonight and I am fucking sore man.

It's been a good run, managed to not seriously injure myself, so there's that. Fuck me do I wish I could get a do over on that final 3 though.

Annual kick of to the holidays with a Scotch tasting tonight. You have to bring a better than average bottle in order to get an invite to this get together. Last year I got schnockered on Macallan 18. How many people can say that?

It was fun leading up to the condition, but death lingered over me for days afterwards.

Keep the faith, Whitey. You got this. Life is beautiful if you get on the goody two shoes train.

Hitting all the right notes, and connecting with the audience. I push myself to my maximum potential, something I’m able to achieve being sober.

Scotch tasting worked out without incident. The Tomatin would have been the devil for me had I not gone into it with a sustainable plan for moderate tasting.

Probably be working til 6 again of course. Glad I don’t have any thanksgiving responsibilities or children, this job would never allow me to be a good friend or father.

Cold plunging is a thing. Some claim it’s done wonders for their anxiety and also inflammation.
