Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
The tweet on RM ends in an ellipsis before Tom Cruise appears in the story so I initially found the picture very funny

Tom Cruise relieved Dakhil of her duties personally, before relieving himself on her leg.
You're welcome.

Not even close. Unity killed a deal they had with Weta FX, the division responsible for developing tech.
Weta Digital is fine.

I hit the hay too early, apparently. Must've overdone it in the gym, innit.

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
I'm confused by the story, but it's my understanding that Unity bought part of Weta from Peter Jackson, and Jackson's part of Weta rebranded as WetaFX. Then Unity shut down their Weta.Ello Sailor wrote:Not even close. Unity killed a deal they had with Weta FX, the division responsible for developing tech.

Oh yeah. I got the names wrong. My bad.
Basically a very small part of Weta was purchased by Unity then killed off. But Big Weta™ is still going strong.

More supervision from executives. Yes, that's what these movies need.

I saw the first movie, though you are right about my reaction to the slothfaced woman. plus its a prequel, so it's probably going to suck balls.Ello Sailor wrote:Feminist propaganda + Anya Taylor-Joy. Burt is gonna have an aneurysm lmfaooo.

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
DaCosta delivered a movie of approximately the same level of quality that Marvel has been releasing for the last 2 years. The first-decade goodwill is finally running out and it's catching up to them. Of course their response is to throw her under the bus
