This feels like a fairly small and specific record.
but if you read on:
Deadpool, with $235 million domestically and $491 million worldwide, has already surpassed 300 ($210M/$456M) in both measures. It's on pace to topple The Passion of the Christ as the top-grossing R-rated film of all time, and to pass Iron Man to become one of the ten highest-grossing superhero movies ever made.

So a movie at 2016 prices brings in more revenue than movies that came out a 12 and 8 years ago respectively?
This.

Plus there are more people in the world now, too. (Probably)

I aw this last night. Pretty good - not amazing, but a good distraction for a couple of hours

that picture is a reminder of why I just can't bring myself to get excited for this. Despite the reviews I am way more interested in BvS over Deadpool

Finally saw it. It was fun. The internal monologue, especially during the bridge fight, was sometimes too much, and it was filtering a bit too much of its R rating through the prism of a 15 year old boy, but I liked it more than I expected

I shut this off during the first few minutes cause it was so dumb. For some reason I tried it again. It was tough but once they got to the flashback/love story and I started to become desensitized to the stupid I actually started to like it. By the time it finished I came to the conclusion that this was the best Fox superhero movie.

This actually means that LV feels comfortable putting a fair bit of trust in me. How sweet!
