TV: Low Winter Sun (AMC)

Post by E.H. Ruddock »

How is there not a thread about this? It has gotten kind of dark, but I'm really enjoying it. Anyone else? Or is this one of those crappy shows that everyone hates but me, like Breakout Kings.

I watched the first episode and it just reminded me too much of the first season of The Killing: interesting but potentially really slow.

So the one dude is that actor from the first Episode of Walking Dead that everyone loved right? We all wanted him to return becuase he was so fantastic ? I saw the first episode and I thought the acting was horrible. Complete over acting from everyone.

I never really gave it a shot but maybe I should...

I love that guy. I always call him Hawkins cause that was his character on Jericho. I think his name is Lennie James? He tends to play characters that are wound super tight and morally conflicted....he goes big but I think he pulls it off. I get why it can be annoying for you though. Ben Foster sometimes acts in a similar manner and it bugs me. He's more ticky though. Anyways I like the show.

It's not great but not the worst either. The black cop is annoying for sure with the overacting.

Oh yeah, that guy. His off-the-wall insistence that he was innocent at the end of the first episode was what really killed it for me. Sinestro and Capt. Montgomery just couldn't save it from that.

I can't watch this because AMC won't leave me the fuck alone about it.

How will AMC get anyone to watch the finale with breaking bad gone?

Anyone see the finale last night? I wonder if this thing is coming back for another season?

I watched. It was ok. If there was a Season 2 I'd watch it. If it doesn't come back I wouldn't be too disappointed though.

This, it's dumb but I never even gave this show a chance because of the constant advertising during breaking bad.
