Loved the new auction and the added wrinkle of cutting the bag of rice before the challenge.

It’s been a while since someone was so viscerally upset about being voted out.

Yeah, what was he thinking. Play the idol and hope to win another immunity challenge. He won 2 in a row and came in second on this last one.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Holy shit. I can’t believe he was that cocky that her didn’t play his idol. See ya!

He does not react well when someone pushes back a bit to his plans. His alliance is going to turn on each other and it will be delicious. My money is on Austin to win the game. He seems like the most well rounded player out there.blueviper wrote:napoleon dynamite needs to go

Re: TV: Survivor
and they already explained why Mama J has to go. That's unfortunate for any older person the show that becomes a mentor or support shoulder. Oh she's only 49. I guess that is old when most everyone else is under 30.Monkey_Driven wrote:He does not react well when someone pushes back a bit to his plans. unless it's an old person that is despised....*looks at Bruce* (and since when is 47 considered old??)
I wonder what is considered old on survivor. 40+?
Katurah, Dee, Austin, Emily...if this was the final 4 I think all four could have a decent shot.

That reminded me of James all those seasons ago. And didn’t he have two idols?

Mama J is from a city about an hour and a half from me. It’s southwest of Nashville and it’s where a LOT of the Nashville money lives. They’re all snooty assholes. So I automatically group her in with those people and don’t like her.

Re: TV: Survivor
Yes, it is consistently great. It hasn't really been about the "survival" element for over a decade.Strat wrote:Wait, people actually watch this show?

Re: TV: Survivor
Emily has a real interesting strategy going with all the honesty she’s dealing out to the people who are going to the jury. This goes all the way back to when she told Kaleb what was going down, even when it was clear she had to vote for him, and now she’s doing the same sort of straight-talk with Bruce and Jake. I don’t think there’s a lot of goodwill on the jury for the Austin/Dee/Drew group, so her playing quietly and trying to amass votes could pay off in the end. (Also, her being such a pariah during the first 3-4 days on the island would be quite the winner’s edit in the end.)Monkey_Driven wrote:That was all Emily on that one. Now the real game begins!
