SNL is gearing up to close out 2023 in a big way with the return of a series favorite, a new five-timers club inductee, and a musical guest making their debut. The comedy sketch series will welcome Noah Kahan, Olivia Rodrigo, and Billie Eilish as the final musical guests of the year. Their episodes will be hosted by Emma Stone, Adam Driver, and Kate McKinnon, respectively, beginning the weekend of Dec. 2.

I love Adam Driver on SNL! That's great news.

And does that mean the Olivia is the musical guest when he hosts? Because, if true... THIS GUY IS EXCITED

Driver kills on SNL, he plays the sketches so earnestly straight but obviously in on the joke. His previous four three appearances have all been fantastic.
McKinnon on the Christmas episode sure be pure fun and silliness.

The Santos opener was expected and it was pretty good. I liked the AI short and Emma was good in her sketches but the cigarette bit during Update was the highlight of an overall mediocre episode.
Looking forward to the next two.

Listened to the Fred Wolf ep of Fly and beforehand, Spade said the last one they recorded before Carvey’s family crisis was with Aykroyd. No new interviews for the rest of the year.

They already said they're taking an indefinite hiatus for 2024

Ah. Hadn’t heard that
It’s at the top of the Fred Wolf episode. It’s not as explicit as I made it out to be but Spade basically says Dana will be taking time. I can’t imagine they’re putting a firm return date on anything.
Oh, no. I actually was commenting more on them airing the Aykroyd episode before the end of the year.
