Re: ITT dimejinky99 vomits random Star Wars thoughts
I was thinking today ... why don't Luke and his family (or really anyone on Tatooine) wear sunglasses?
Then I thought, maybe they evolved to not need them, but then I wondered, what planet did all of these humans even evolve on? Have they been gone long enough to adapt to life on other planets?
I mean, there is a planet for the Akbar's and the Squidhead people and the Kimonians have their own planet and those bug guys who made the droids have their own planet, etc, but humans are just everywhere. Have they just been around long enough to spread and infest the whole galaxy? Do they have a home planet? Did a bunch of beings evolve on other planets and just happen to look pretty much the same?
So, y'know, sunglasses ... what the fuck is up with evolution in the Star Wars universe?

You’re equating “humans” to beings from earth. But they’re not. And we have no way of knowing exactly where those beings began or how they’ve evolved over the centuries.B wrote:I was thinking today ... why don't Luke and his family (or really anyone on Tatooine) wear sunglasses?

Thought this was the Avatar thread and was very concerned.epilogue wrote:I'm probably most excited for Acolyte as far as upcoming live action projects goes. Then Ahsoka. Then Mando 3. Then Skeleton Crew.

Re: ITT dimejinky99 vomits random Star Wars thoughts
I fully admit to using "human" to mean, "the aliens in Star Wars who appear most like Earth humans." As to the second part of your post, that exactly the thing I'm pondering!wease wrote:You’re equating “humans” to beings from earth. But they’re not. An axe hanging over all of those and future Star Wars projects.
The shareholders are unhappy and bob iger is making it known.
Little bit of revenge on the actors that went on strike too.
More than just a little bit.

Re: ITT dimejinky99 vomits random Star Wars thoughts
Skeleton Crew was suppose to be next installation and xmas/January but has now been pushed back until october/November 2024.
Looks like we will get bad batch 3 first around feb/march/april 2024.
Acolyte - May/June
Tales of the jedi later in the year hopefully.
Mando S4 hasnt started filming yet, Ahsoka S2 hasnt be approved and or have a script so 2025 is looking pretty slim
There was that rumoured "Ghost Track 17" project but there has been no update about that at all,

Season two will have aired and finished and you still won’t have watched. Let’s be real here.
