Bought Final Fantasy XVI for $35 and started it last night. This will be my first Final Fantasy game. I played through the demo earlier this fall, so I could pick up right where it left off.

I've never beaten a FF game either. I will play 7 and Tactics some day.

I have Part One of the 7 Remake too, but I will likely wait until the 3rd installment's release date is announced before I get to it.CopperTom wrote:I've never beaten a FF game either. I will play 7 and Tactics some day.

Almost done with the Metroid Prime remaster and realizing I missed one or two missile expansions somewhere. But I'm right up to the Ridley fight and I don't care enough to go back and find the others.

I started playing this just after Tears of the Kingdom and it was a huge mental adjustment to not be able to fast travel anywhere I wanted to.tree_ wrote:the backtracking in that game is exhausting.. had trouble finding the motivation to finish the remasterJoesanity wrote:Almost done with the Metroid Prime remaster and realizing I missed one or two missile expansions somewhere. Combo of both. Mostly retro with a rotating selection of pinball machines.CopperTom wrote:Modern games or just retro?Monkey_Driven wrote:My son and I are heading to the new arcade in town after work/school tomorrow. $10 unlimited play. Should be a great time!
The kick out the underage patrons after 9 and it turns into a barcade/movie theater. A great addition to our entertainment options.

Have fun. The only modern arcade game that I played was Halo: Fireteam Raven. Very fun. I didn't enjoy the modern pinball games that I played. The 90s had peak pinball machines, imho.Monkey_Driven wrote:Combo of both. Light gun games and retro games with a modern spin (Space Invaders, Pac Man, etc.) and not much else.
