How warm do you keep your house in winter? I keep mine at 68 and always thought that was a little on the high side if anything, but had someone over the other day and they were aghast that someone with young kids would have it below 70. Which seems idiotic to me.

I let it fall to 65 between 11pm and 5am, 68 the rest of the time.

if it were up to me i'd keep it around 68 but my wife and one kid get cold extremely easily so we keep it around 72

im not home during the day but at night i like to keep it warm and cozy. sleeping near the window i get the cold i need but truth be told id rather be warm in winter under 4 blankets

i have forced hot air which i dislike relative to radiator heat so i try to use it as little as possible

i target 63 at daytime and 60 at night

i use double comforter on the bed and keep cozy

if i had radiated heat would def be a different ballgame
