my guess is Ed must take exception to Dave A bc Dave A leaked stuff to that Five against one book about Ed personal stuff, and probably family stuff too

that’s probably the bridge that made it too far to cross

Ed had been going through crazy stalker stuff at that time and my guess is it all got filed in under ‘existential threat’

a great deal of time has passed and would be great for them to hash it out

obv continuing to dwell on ‘that-Era’ Ed is not reasonable as that era has long passed

but I do wonder if current-era Ed could do more to attempt to reach out and smooth things over

maybe Stone can go in for an initial brunch meeting with an olive branch, bring things back full circle

Stone should not invite Dave A. to any meals that could include eggs. It’s too soon.

Which would produce more revenue over the long haul?

I bet Ed is super pissed they did writing credits like that for those two albums.

according to him, he has got nothing. He signed it all away when he was fired.

If that's the case, why would EV want to have anything to do with the guy ever again?

Again, based on the above info and the fact they're clearly just not aligned with the guy, why would he want to?

At the cost of his own enjoyment and sense of personal safety? Nah. Even that Instagram post above makes the guy look like a jackass.

Don't get me wrong, I love the records he drums on and I think he's an integral part of PJ's history.

But it's in the past. Leave it there.

It rarely happens, believe me. If anything, you find them to be worse, especially in the Trumpy climate we're living in now.

And Dave clearly needs his binky. So...

for someone whose m.o. is all about love and putting fixin on it maybe it would evidence emotional maturity to seek to make amends
