that’s probably the bridge that made it too far to cross

Ed had been going through crazy stalker stuff at that time and my guess is it all got filed in under ‘existential threat’

a great deal of time has passed and would be great for them to hash it out

Agreed. There are people from my 20s who were really toxic personalities at the time. I'd like to think they've grown and evolved since then, but why would I ever go out of my way to find out?

It rarely happens, believe me. If anything, you find them to be worse, especially in the Trumpy climate we're living in now.
