Did you not like the way Matt played with Soundgarden?
Matt has rarely played that creatively for Pearl Jam
I'm just saying, that's a thing we've heard about the new album*

I really like Matt´s drumming with PJ, specially in Binaural, RA and Avocado. He is always doing some cool thing, and in those albums he sounds pretty heavy too.
Backspacer is another thing, which i like and LB is just awful. The drums sound just awful. I cant listen to them.
Gigaton was another great album for him.

These would be my choices too. For the most part I like his studio drumming although he doesn’t usually elevate the songs the way the three previous drummers did, though there are exceptions. For me, extraordinary feel for an instrument usually beats out extraordinary talent. He has the latter but not the former. The only time his drumming takes me out of a song in a bad way is during live performances and that’s because it’s either too fast or too robotic.
I absolutely love his song writing.
Every sentence in my head, someone else has said.

Same.
Hope he dropped his habit of altering words and dragging out their endings like someone who took a few singing lessons and is trying out new stuff without really knowing what he's doing.

The Rise of Skywalker is more like a compilation of Pearl Jam songs from the Christmas singles all jammed together in random order, including the Ramblings.
I’ll bite though!
The Phantom Menace - Backspacer
Attack of the Clones - Lightning Bolt
Revenge of the Sith - Avocado
A New Hope - Ten
Empire Strikes Back - Vs.
Return of the Jedi - Yield
The Force Awakens - Earthling
The Last Jedi - Gigaton
The Rise of Skywalker - the Christmas singles in random order
Solo - Lost Dogs
Rogue One - Riot Act
The rest don’t fit or have to be jammed into the TV shows.
