None of this sounds like something that can't be smoothed over with some nice Eggs Benedict for brunch. Make the call, Stone.

I'm not really surprised Ed hasn't extended the olive branch to Abbruzzese, but it's curious that Mike or Stone haven't over the years.

It does make we wonder whether there's more to the story than those outside the band know.

you mean when he was a part of the biggest band in the world making a crap ton of money? yeah, super strange to be obsessed about that.
well, but that happened what...20 years ago? he is always posting about it in daily bases, thats not healthy at all. Besides the fact that he hasnt done anything else with his career, not even a drummer for different sessions or producers. The guy is stuck there and keeps fucking around with the band.

If i was anyone in the band i would talk with him, because the guy is clearly in pain. But it seems they know this dude might be obsessed or more with it, maybe thats why they dont even get close to him.

PJ is so retrospectively obsessed and endlessly celebrating anniversaries of stuff that Dave contributed to heavily

it’s not like PJ are forward looking and just minding their own business

as the former actual real life drummer of pearl jam Dave’s social media feeds must be caked in PJ stuff and when PJ decides to post about some of his work for the x-teenth time it’s no surprise to me that Dave decides to engage given that he was a foundational part of it

maybe if PJ stopped constantly celebrating anniversaries of Dave’s achievements then Dave could move on too

It’s too bad that from a fan's stand point, for whatever reason (and for all we know it’s a valid one) we only get the one way conversation from Abbruzzese.

The moment is probably long past but if they really had wanted a money grab, they would have made another album with Dave A.

Bring back Dave K.

It makes me a little sad that Dave A seemingly can't let go. It's true, he was part of the band when they were at their commercial peak but it was 30 years ago. He needs to make peace with that and try to just enjoy the impact he had.

Bring back Jack Irons.

What’s Eddie’s best album as far as writing music? What’s his worst?

Ten: Porch

Vs: Rearviewmirror, Small Town

Vitalogy: Not For You, Whipping, Corduroy, Bugs, Better Man, Immortality

No Code: Sometimes, Off He Goes, Habit, Lukin, Around the Bend

Yield: Wishilst, MFC

Binaural: Breakerfall, Insignificance, Grievance, Soon Forget, Parting Ways

Riot Act: Can’t Keep, LBC, I Am Mine, Thumbing My Way, Green Disease, Arc

Pearl Jam: World Wide Suicide, Severed Hand, Gone

Backspacer: Gonna See My Friend, Just Breathe, Unthought Known, Speed of Sound, The End

Lightning Bolt: Getaway, Lightning Bolt, Swallowed Whole, Sleeping By Myself, Future Days

Gigaton: Who Ever Said, Superblood Wolfmoon, Never Destination, Comes Then Goes, Rivercross

Those are the songs which he’s credited as the primary writer for music. He is co-credited on a handful or two of other songs such as In My Tree, Light Years, DOTC, etc.
As we know, Vs and Vitalogy are officially credited to the whole band for songwriting.

His best for me are Vitalogy and Binaural. Worst are Pearl Jam and Lightning Bolt.

vitalogy and binaural are at my top. I guess no code, l-bolt, and riot act are the bottom in terms of music writing, but i like his writing.
