American Fiction was great. Different than I expected and really glad that's the case.

Every performance is wonderful. Great writing. Feels like a film I'll come back to a lot in future.

This looks promising. I've been a fan of Jeffrey Wright ever since he showed up on Boardwalk Empire.

He really knocks it out of the park here.

I liked everything about it. I liked the story. I liked Natalie Portman. I liked the visuals and the horror imagery. I liked the brooding, dreamlike state of it. I liked that screaming bear thing.

I really hated annihilation. I hear the book is even more illogical than the movie.

The book is really solid. The movie (because it tried to condense three books into one, apparently) is not great.

I agree the visuals were very good. The plot was goofy as hell.
