Spotify recommended I listen to CAss McCombs because I'd been listening to Kurt Vile and I found this album. I've been playing it a lot.

I purchased it based on RM's recommendation (and the strength of the one song I'd heard of theirs, "Shark Fin Blues"). It was alright, I guess. The first track is the only one I've felt the need to revisit. Didn't do a whole lot for me.

Gareth is probably one of my all time favourite lyricists. I admit I haven't really returned to this album much but I'm definitely a fan.
