Hasn't that been the case lately anyway? I believe for LB and GiG the first nights of the tour were scheduled for right before/around the album release.

10c pre sales and public sales would have been well before. Nice going fellas.....sucks us all in with a mediocre to above avg single and then take our money.

No complaints here, the LB album release show in Worcester, MA was a scorcher.

Fair. Charlottesville is in my top 5. Balt wasn't bad either. Some of those LB songs sounded a little better live anyway. Infallible had its balls removed in the studio/post production. Many solid ingredients to that record...but they were all wasted in the end.

I have insider knowledge that there has been a bit of a misunderstanding between PJ and their fan base. They have indeed been working on a record it isn't ready. Matt misspoke when he referred to new album in the can he was merely referring to a photo album of Polaroids that Mike took of bonsai trees and left in the bathroom at the band headquarters. The good news is Mike is going to do a big book tour after publishing the said album of bonsai trees he is also working with Josh k on score to coinside with the released of the album. It will be titled "Music to Flow to a Gentle Whisper of Wind "

I thought the project was going to be called Singular Two.

album delayed because J Kling needed overseas to help PBOC implement stimulus package

no suitable replacement for assorted triangles could be located

until such time as The Party requires J Kling’s service, there will be no more pearl ham

until then, feel free to enjoy the band’s lovely side project releases

which should help you call into question whether Ed really is ‘the current problem’

What % of (potential) attendees will be purchasing tickets based on the contents of the next album?

Very low. Very, very low.

I don't usually go on a new tour unless I like the new material to some extent, even if it's just needing to be convinced by seeing it live
