We have our first child coming in March. Sure could use new tracks to keep my spirits high while i'm cleaning up poppy butts in the middle of the night.

I totally agree. I felt this way when Gig came out (can't believe they're still writing and releasing new music). So that fact that we're "lucky" in this regard is not lost on me.

My comment was mostly in jest, but I am of course, very eager to hear some new tracks.

On the other hand, some comments from them make me think they'll just keep going until they drop.
