I'm not going to write it in both threads, but I've stopped making excuses for this song or LTRP. BoB shat all over this song and Ed should've thumped him for it, and LTRP should've been way more. Please, Pearl Jam, no obligatory "fun" songs next time. I can appreciate that LTRP might've been a fun jam, but that's all it is.

Ed should be releasing all of his negative energy on B'OB.

I'm not sure he has any negative energy.

But he releases his negative energy by throwing axes, it seems.

I'm all for a new producer, you know, but ax murder is not the way to make that happen.

I'm not saying he needs to kill him. That would be silly.
He just needs to aim at the hands. Just chop those away.

I don't mind the chorusy bits, just the verses are super annoying

For some reason I remembered your mom's name as Grace. Forgive me.

this song, shockingly, is starting to grow on me. I've upgraded it to 3 McParadigms.

I'm with you, its grown on me too. I still hate the piano intro/outtro though.

That's like a chud and a half. Or .735 stips.

I feel like this is just gonna make it worse.

I never disliked the song. That's what I hate so much about this song.

It's a good song if you remove the cheesy intro/outro. Don't understand all the hate for it. I love Ed's cadence and melody in the last two stanzas of the verses. Really catchy. And as someone else mentioned, the song is just so relaxed and spacious.

I also am liking it more. I'm not a fan of the added layers of vocals though.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.
