Jesus

She’s been quoted totally out of context there.

Anything for click revenue though
a video on X of Obaid-Chinoy speaking at a panel several years ago about her goals as a filmmaker.

Yeah, I think in this case they’re giving her a bad rap.

A few of the grumpy people on YouTube already jumped on this. Lol

Saying you like to make men uncomfortable and getting offended by that are equally goofy. Considering the setting it was an obvious applause line you can't blame her for that. Saying its about time a woman was in charge of Star Wars would probably offend me if I was one of the many woman who have been steering Star Wars since the 70's but I'm not going to be upset for them.

Just been confirmed rian Johnson has a photo book coming out of his last Jedi photos he took onset.

No word of his Star Wars trilogy he was meant to be doing. Quietly dropped for now it seems. I’m still of the belief he would make an amazing origin story in Star Wars.

Goddamn. Glad to see he’s finally getting and accepting the help he needs.

I’m sure I’ve given his performance shit over the years, but he was only 8 years old for fucks sake. What 8 year old is Olivier? I would’ve thought it was the coolest thing in the world to be in a SW movie at that age and I bet he had a blast.

Hayden was nervous about even turning up at Star Wars celebration a few years ago.
And he came out onstage to rapturous applause. Everyone was delighted to see him. And he in the series.

The love Jake would get is off the charts. They should give him a role in something coming

Would be cool to cast him in a Rey origin story as her dad or something. Though i guess he was a skywalker not a palpatine

Read that letter the press were fuckin horrible to him before it even came out. Not just Newsweek.

Ron Howard to the rescue and he was right then and he’s still right.

That would be perfect. In the real world we’d all know but would be a lovely symmetry to it in universe too.

Yeah, not Jake Lloyd's fault at all. And props to Ron Howard for sticking up for him.

But TPM is terrible and it was a bad idea to have kids as main characters.

Why do so many SW characters have capes?
