i did this last monday and ended up throwing the entire thing away because the pork i bought was a shoulder "butt" as opposed to "pork butt" (which turns out is cut much higher on the leg/shoulder) and it was tough, fatty, and completely undercooked. user/buyer error.

yup. the only reason i bought it over the actual pork butt is it was boneless. hard lesson learned.
