Jesus Christ, guys! I know it's traditional for the South to collapse under the mere rumor of a dusting of snow, but it's fucking raining today and schools are closed. Doctor's office's are closed.

I honestly don't understand this fucking place.

I can't believe they fought as long as they did. I'm sure their soldiers laid down and surrendered every time there was a cloudy day.

Same way here. Supposed to start flurrying anytime now and we’re not supposed to get any accumulation. It did rain for the last day and a half so I guess they’re worried about roads freezing but it was also up in the 50s the last day and a half so I wouldn’t think ground level would be cold enough for a freeze.

This, it’s always crazy to hear about people in Atlanta or Dalla flying off the road when there’s like half an inch of snow.

But also, I think us northerners take for granted how much plows drop salt proactively to keep our roads from turning into ice rinks. The south just doesn’t have that service, and why would they for a couple days a year.
