The crash was maybe not great, exactly, but it was cool. I had to watch it twice because I was a little confused about who was where because of the direction stuff flew was moving toward different sides of the screen at different moments. A little confusing

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yeah it seems like a retelling of the story for Netflix fans. Not sure why but I don’t really care to see it

I didn't know Alive was a thing, actually, but isn't it better to have a Spanish-language version of this story, especially since the cast seems to be mainly Uruguayan/South American and not English-speaking Hollywood boys? It's a fine movie, a fine time

I had to watch it twice because I enjoyed watching all those people get hurt

it's not a "remake" if both movies are based on different books / accounts of the same factual event

Pig

Most excellent. A lot deeper than I had expected going in. Nic Cage is the best and that pig was cute as fuck. My only issue was with the
Spoiler: show
underground fight club. What the hell was going on there? They weren't even fights -- just one dude punching another dude in the face repeatedly. A little goofy if you ask me.
Anyway, good shit overall.

I don't think we should make teams for Pig, because I would feel bad for poor Tree being all alone.
