man, you can't seem to catch a break.
granted, illnesses and traveling tend to hand-in-hand, but man...

When we were planning these voyages earlier in the year, during our kid’s first semester in school when she catches everything, I did fear and speak up about these possibilities, but it mostly fell on deaf ears, heh. Gotta live life and hope for the best I guess.
I’m legitimately considering a mask for the trip home, to avoid any viruses I can. Just tired of being under the weather at this point.

it's hard to avoid illness when you've got a kid.

And travel internationally twice in three weeks while being on the go.

Oh, you definitely need to remind her.

Staying in the city for once, I hope. There are some things I need to get done around the house that I just can’t do while looking after an exceedingly clingy kid.
driving up to Vancouver first thing tomorrow morning for only about 36 hours...watching the 2 footballs games and making a lot of cabbage rolls..taking leftover cabbage rolls to the in-laws Sunday morning before driving home
Hunkering down tonight during the snowstorm. Heading up to Wisconsin for my soon to be five year old niece’s birthday party tomorrow afternoon. The wife and I are taking my folks out for a late seafood lunch during the insanity, while my sis and BIL mind all the rugrats. Then staying over at sis’s house tomorrow night… bourbon and playoff football in my BIL’s mancave.
Heading back to the lakehouse Sunday to chill til we head back to town Monday night for school/work Tuesday.
nothing today..just hanging out..mrs. is out for a mani/pedi..tomorrow morning we have massages booked and will pick up Mexican food on the way home for the football games
Taking off a couple hours early, getting oil changed, no kids next two days, taking it easy tonight, going to stay at getaway cabin and enjoy a private hot tub with the wife Friday, Saturday picking up kids on the way home, enjoying the weekend and Monday off with the boys before going back to work Tuesday
I'm home alone for 2 days while my wife drives up to Vancouver to take her mom to a doctor appointment..she's also taking them all the food I've made the last couple days..I'll be staying with our dog..1 hour massages first thing Sunday morning and then on the couch for a Niners win...
