Everything really clicked watching Oppenheimer again. Easily Nolan’s best movie. I won’t mind this winning all the awards. Although I still think I like Killers of the Flower Moon a little better.

Sounds cool. I think I'll try it.tommy wrote:I'm watching The Gambler on Netflix. It's a ticking clock gambling movie starring Jimmy Caan and Burt Young. This is exactly my type of movie.

Re: What movies are you watching?
Both are great movies, but I'd give the edge to The Nice Guys. A great physical comedy performance from Gosling.

Eileen.
It looked great, compelling leads and a very tense, strong, hitchcockian atmosphere but the ending really feels flat and kinda ruins the whole experience.
Weird really.

I havent read the novel and i can think why it would be good yeah. The movie has a lot of thing to go for but ultimately it was a disappointment for me.

Re: What movies are you watching?
The movie is really good. It's very different from the novel in key ways, which I find really exciting.Malloy wrote:bummer. i liked the novel well enough. was hoping to hear the movie is goodVinylGuy wrote:Eileen.
