So what's the deal with the January listening party?

Just a wild guess but given its in January and we have no news yet its probably just for the single. Seems unlikely that it would be for an album that's (maybe) going to be released in March or April.

The listening party for Gigaton was in late January for a late March release. Not saying this album will come out that soon, but it's worth considering.

As glad as I am that that clip wasn't the new song, I will admit that the most "generic cut-to-commerical" sounding song on Gigaton is probably Never Destination, and that's one of my favourites.

for the record, i was watching the football game when the song came on and immediately thought it was new, unreleased pearl jam.. i thought about recording it and coming on here to talk about it.. then said "nah.. " and moved on with my life. i feel pretty good about that
