First season had a lot of that, hell even in the finale they almost full five into that route, so its very cool they are doing it again.
Ok. That shot of the “The Thing” video tape made me nervous.

I think that was good but I’m not positive yet. Looking forward to next week.

That movie is amazing. Even the remake was good.

I wonder though what the generational breakdown is there, how many people think of "The Thing" versus how many think of "30 Days of Night"?

i've seen the first three seasons. but admittedly, i remember very little from season three. i understand that season 1 had some easter eggs/references to this season. so my question: do i need to catch up on those seasons before watching this one?

the prequel? because the carpenter movie is actually a remake.

Good call with 30 days of night...

Stuff You Should Know did a great single episode on it. I think there's another entire podcast limited series all about it too.
cool

this all kinda reminds me of my Lost TV days, too

I like this weird, real life mystery stuff

I disagree. You should definitely rewatch season 1 because:
A) it's a masterpiece
B) it looks like this season may have some pretty close linkages to it

After only one episode (which is in no way enough) this season kicks S1's ass.

But let's all calm down and see where we're headed.
