Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

This, especially for a murder mystery type of show where they subsequent episodes define the greatness of the story.

I was intrigued with whatever happened with Foster´s character, not only her relationship with her step daughter but also how dismissive she is with everything related with the native americans. I wonder if she lost her daughter and husband in a car crash like the ep kinda hinted or what happened there.

But to that end, I don't have any experience with/relationship to Issa Lopez's work. So I have no expectations on where this will go.

I have three seasons of Nic Pizzolatto letting me down in a variety of ways. Were he in charge of this season, I'd have my doubts. But since, thankfully, he's nowhere near this thing, I can afford to be optimistic and excited. There's the hope that this won't lose the ball in the lights.

So many of y'all wanna take potshots. And that's fine. I'll be your Huckleberry. But for all of whatever y'all think I think, it's amazing how much CR and Andy get where I'm at with this show. They say it all better than I could here because y'all have already made up your mind about what I think. But for those who bother to listen, this is where I'm at

I haven't had the chance to listen to The Watch lately, but Andy was never a fan of season one.
