Just watched the 2nd half of this (vs Boston) as I had an hour to kill waiting at the airport heading home. I got a D White singlet for Xmas. God I love that man.

Amen. White is the man.

Tatum needs to keep going to the hoop vs. settling for 3s. He's officially in all-star mode meaning refs are gonna give him the calls. It's an automatic trip to the line.

I can't figure out this team. All the talent in the world, but they continue to have these dry spells.

Also, how does a team lose 28 in a row??

He's been awesome this year, but yeah. I wonder if injury related incentives are in the contract. If not, it should have been a 2-3 year deal with the last year being a team option.

Didn't Woj report it as fully guaranteed?

Also, Spo highest paid coach in North American sports history I think. And they waited to do the deal until after his divorce lol.

This seems like a mistake. Who were they bidding against?

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, Leonard agreed to a three-year, $152.4 million fully guaranteed deal that will tie him to the Clippers through the 2026-27 season.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski added Leonard will make $52 million in the first year and $50 million in each subsequent season. His deal does not include a player option.
So it was Shams not Woj but yeah seems crazy to do that at all, let alone now.

I get they have a new area to sell tickets for and all, but how many people in LA really care about the Clippers?

Checking in here to see what you thought of it. Seems like a big win for both sides considering their positions.

Every Heat fan I've talked to so far is thrilled. Just what we needed: get a PG, dump the corpse of Lowry, and it only cost a protected first.

This season is weird because the record isn't great but I really like this team and love the depth. The Bucks will probably pound Miami in the playoffs to make me regret saying this, but it feels like Miami dodged a major bullet not getting Dame.

Embiid has been incredible. I still wonder if he can have the same level of performances in the playoffs for a sustained run. Seems like he either is hurt or disappears each year. Maybe being unshackled from Simmons, Harden, and Rivers will finally be the key.
