I think there's a great deal of merit and evidence behind the "of course a man" take, and it's not as big of a stretch as "you're fooling yourself if..."

Margot's performance in Barbie deserved the nomination.

Off topic: She was not half bad in Babylon either.

Just saw this for the first time ever.

Ryan Gosling was amazing in this. The movie was flawed but good. My main take from it is that Gosling elevated every scene he was in. Perhaps partly bevause the Ken scenes were funnier, than the more political Barbie only scenes. However, Gosling is also a phenomenal actor.
