Fucking shenanigans just make politics messier and worse, and never result in giving the electorate the leader they actually want.
I'm registered independent, and actually thought of doing that. NC has open primaries. Then this year, some city council candidates in the LIBERAL city here were trashed because people thought they were too Libertarian, and they had voted in a Republican primary in the past, which was used against them.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

-Upcoming primary in her home state of SC could give her some real heat
-The abortion issue will become more central to their contrasts, arguably in her favor (im not clear on the numbers of pro-choice conservative voters vs hardline pro-lifers)
-Trump’s legal issues continue to be a problem
-Stefanik is a fucking idiot
In any event, it will be good for the party — and taking a long view, good for America — to have an articulate, female-led contrast to Trump’s brand of xenophobic, isolationist conservatism
I bet if you explained it to them without the threat of shaming them as some kind of *ist, most people would vote for xenophobic isolationism. Perhaps Trump is just a poor spokesperson for it.

I’d *like* to think a Trump v Haley primary can parse some of that out.
Blaming America’s economic problems on brown people is conservatism 101.
I get the military people and fascists supporting Trump, but I don’t get the Christians supporting him. Or, at least, I don’t see how a person could believe Trump is a Christian. You’d have to be an idiot. Or maybe it’s all about abortion. That’s probably it.

False news! Six finger Trump loves to go to church and pray

if he gets the nom, but loses the general election - that will be his second general election loss
will that make him the biggest loser in presidential history?
