I won’t argue this. But just imagine it’s Haley.

Who is on the other side of that ballot?
If you’re suggesting that she would beat Joe Biden under conditions where she had full Republican support, I think that’s almost a foregone conclusion.

Not choosing that route is one of many ways the Republican Party is needlessly self-immolating…and an example of how the party’s external grief-targeting and absolute rejection of self-reflection is destructive to its cause. If everything is always someone else’s fault, then you learn no lessons.
Can’t decide between “same could be said about the Dems” and “bring back Dave a”
I mean, the same could be said about centrists, too. To some degree that’s a very human reaction to things. Everyone experiences some amount of that impulse. But neither the centrists nor the Democrats have let it talk them into rejecting a presidential candidate who would be a near-guaranteed win for one who tells them what they want to hear.
They rejected Bloomberg for some reason
Michael Bloomberg was a billionaire who tried to use his vast personal resources to secure a presidential bid. When his polling numbers didn’t qualify him for the early debates, the Democratic National Committee actively lobbied for him. When that led to him appearing onstage, it went so poorly that the otherwise-sympathetic New York Times ran a headline called How Bloomberg Bungled a Debate. A Monmouth poll from shortly before primary voting started found his like-ability ratings with registered voters to be middling at best. The same week, a Quinnipiac poll showed him performing worse against Trump than 3 of the other Democrat candidates in a head-to-head. Joe Biden was the far and away winner of that poll.

I would need you to explain to me how this is an example of what we are talking about.

You see an opportunity to shame and other, I see a chance to unite so the big stuff can get done.
By shaming different people than I did?
Fair, my response was unnecessarily harsh.

If he went back to peak Biden for the election it would be the biggest sweep in history, and likely the end of MAGA as a major force in politics :

Its funny how now that Fetterman is largely recovered he’s suddenly moderate. Must be something about brain damage and leftism

But on topic, changing your mind on something does not mean you’ve come to a better conclusion. They idea that unfettered immigration is good is long dead outside progglism and businesses looking for easily exploited labor

You see an opportunity to shame an other. I see a chance to recognize how scorn and cruelty imbalance a message of tolerance.

Pasting together out of context quotes to create a false impression of hypocrisy in not the own you might think McP.

ANYWAY....

The Texas thing is turning into quite the event, itll be interesting to see how Biden responds to states openly rejecting federal direction:

States backing texas:
