Passages.

I guess it was ok? I dont quite get why those two found the lead guy even slighty interesting. He is just the worst, so nothing really grabbed me really here.

It’s good.
Agreed. It's touching. Maybe the haters don't like to be touched.

In Anatomy of a Fall, Sandra Hüller delivers an impressive performance of a very well-written part in an often excruciatingly boring movie. Could not wait for it to be over. Hope she wins the Oscar

I just realized Anatomy of a Fall director Justine Triet also directed Sibyl and In Bed With Victoria, two movies I loved. Watch those! They are so much better than this lifeless drag!

I'll be honest, I'm a little butthurt that you would say that about Anatomy of a Fall and I will NOT be watching those movies out of spite.

I really gotta see The Boys In The Boat here sometime soon.

As in, before my dad dies. I need to see it with him. He's 82. You just never know.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
