Haha, you've got a bit of catching to do.

Although you've probably been wiser than me, I've almost already used most of the songs that get played at over 50%(ish) of shows. By the time night 12 comes, my picks will probably be something like: Let Me Sleep, Bee Girl, Stupid Mop, Aye Davanita, Evil Little Goat and Alford Pleas.
I think that's what most first timers do
I'm exaggerating a bit. I've held a few gems back for the right time. And I'm not a first timer per se, I did have a go at this on the old board albeit under a slightly different structure.

How comes some people have their winning selections in bold and score tallied up at the end of each show? Is this something we're supposed to do ourselves? Does it help if we do?

I believe it was in the template at one point for previous rounds, more for self auditing purposes than anything else though I think, I just edit it after each show is over with

yep, its best of you keep your own score just to make sure nothing is missed, and those who do tend to bold the ones they get right. ive been lazy and havent done any of it yet, but might catch up tonight or tomorrow

Ok, I'll try to begin doing that. And I'll try not to bold ones that weren't played in the hope it slips through the net.

i usually use a list of all the album tracks and maybe a few covers, then pre rank them for my #1s and 2s and so on, but looking at my list, after 3 shows i think most of the #2s i have left havent even been played, so i might be screwed, the only saving grace is i didnt rank a few of the new album tracks because i had no idea if they would be played or not, and they all have been, so they may become my new #2s

Everybody's Picks Are Recorded. :nice:

Also I was thinking about Adding a Penalty System for late entries:

I mean most of the participants get them in the morning of the show, so it wouldn't affect them. The rule now stands 3PM, the time zone of the show, before the show starts. That's usually 4 hours so, I thought:

Maybe if picks haven't been made by 5 hours before start eliminating picks to place your choices. I mean this way it would still let you pick up to start time but if you do this you'd only have "Pick 7" as a choice to enter a song. meaning if you did get that song you'd get 5pts.

It's a penalty for that day, some may look at it as a procrastinating tool to save some songs for later use. I don't know was just thinking about it, seems like I just been poking you to get your picks in, I don't think I need to do that. I don't mind reminding you, but you know.

Scorecard Penalty:
0.0 Hours -- Legitimate Goose Egg'D
0.5 Hours -- Also Eliminate #6 Pick
1.0 Hours -- Also Eliminate #5 Pick
1.5 Hours -- Also Eliminate #4 Pick
2.0 Hours -- Also Eliminate #3 Pick
2.5 Hours -- Also Eliminate #2 Pick
3.0 Hours -- Also Eliminate #1 Pick
3.5 Hours -- Also Eliminate Cinderella
4.0 Hours -- Also Eliminate Opener
4.5 Hours -- Eliminate Bonus Chance
5.0 Hours+ -- Make All Picks

*Just ideas.
