I just stuck to my “one league for everyone” idea.

I can’t. I’m not a very good liar.

Well, well, well. Tall girl and I exchanged texts last night.

Apparently, a date is still on for next weekend.

The kid slept the night with no puking, kept her pancakes down, and didn’t have a fever so I dropped her off at school. Stopped at the grocery for some Nespresso pods as I’m out, dropped off a check to get a building permit released for our building’s fire escape to be demo’d and rebuilt, then hit up the DMV for a duplicate title to our car, since we never received the one the state supposedly sent out last year. Was hungry on the way home and stopped off for sushi. Back home now, going to kick my feet up for a bit before starting some laundry and picking up the kid.

I don’t know if we have a car/car repairs thread… but blew out a tire on the way to work this morning. Was barely able to pull over safely…. Ugh.
