Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
thats even weirder!! i kinda get if someone famous make their reservations with a fake name, makes sense....but thats just him trying to get attention and then being super mad about how famous he is.
I do think he is very talented, although he seemed to be on a path of very minor movies lately...

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
In the podcast, I recall him talking about how people in his life have told him he takes his work too seriously and implied that's why he's taking less "serious" roles, and he referred to himself as a true goof, a clown at heart, like he's really been a comedian all along. As if anyone thinks of him that way. He just seems out of touch with reality and deeply troubled.

Maybe he doesn't know how to pronounce it. It is a tough nameepilogue wrote:Totally. But he makes his reservations under Jake G. It's so weird! He wants tickets held under "G". He just refuses to give his full name. It's amazing.VinylGuy wrote:![]()

I keep forgetting that trailers just summarise the entire film these days. I guess there's no point in seeing this now, and I've only myself (and Stickman) to blame.Stickman wrote:

I was talking to a friend the other day about the best film decades. I said 70s and he said 90s. I think there was so much creativity and advancements in the 70s that it’s hard to top.

Yeah 70s is the peak. I'm producing a podcast where two directors from Argentina talk about movies and directors from the 70s and I just can't believe how good the output was

I'm still narrowing it down, but I feel like one of them is lying about the podcast. Too big of a coincidence!
