I hope the series finale has Larry on trial and a bunch of character witnesses from previous seasons testify against him. That would be the ultimate fuck you send off of all time.

Or just Jerry, Jason, Michael and Julia testify.

The Today Show bit with Elmo was very much on brand for LD.
The premier episode’s title is “Atlanta”, as someone who lives there I’m curious to find out why.
Bittersweet to see this one begin its last run of new episodes. The early reviews are mixed but whatever.

Without a doubt, no question, the best comedy TV show of all time. Spent most of the day watching clips of him on late night shows and Bill Simmon's podcast. Also Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman just launched "History of Curb" Pod going episode by episode. Watched 2 already today and it's a must for hardcore fans.

Bad Curb is the best TV of the year. There won't be a comedy better in 2024 and there wasn't in 2023. And no, that kitchen show everyone loves in Chicago is not comedy nor is it really great TV.

Seinfeld still beats it. It’s not as cringey, strikes a better balance.

I thought that was a solid start. I laughed several times. “You sure Lady Macbeth had nothing to do with this?” got the biggest laugh of the ep from me.

Jeff not instantly copping to the dye job reminded me of an uncle of mine. Uncle had white hair since the beginning of my memory. He’s one of those Leslie Nielsen/Steve Martin guys. One day he showed up at church with jet black hair and acted like nothing happened. It was so damn funny.

I saw the new ep yesterday...i havent been invested on this show since it went away, but i do wanna return someday.

That new episode was just not funny at all. It was tired and a little pathetic.

Guys, The Curse was way way better than this.

I feel like recent season premieres have been kinda meh, then things get better after a few eps.

Nothing special about Ep1. Not concerned though.

i thought larry's indignance was very forced and over the top at moments (like when he was yelling at the cleaning lady in their first scene together).

That scene was wonky for sure. Felt like they couldn’t get the take they wanted.

I thought the second episode was better too, a couple funny scenes with the lawn jockey. The storyline for the season is in motion now; I think we all see a trial coming in the finale.
I remember seeing a few lawn jockeys growing but they were never common. This one particular house had one until fairly recently, within the past 10 years maybe, but otherwise I don’t think I have seen one in decades. I don’t even know where you would find one now.

Team Larry on the tree.

His face when Ullman asked him if she has a musk… my god, that was priceless.

Goddamn, Lewis looks 112 years old.
