I have a pecan tree in my front yard, actually.

I usually buy mesquite or hickory, but it's time for a change.

If you can get your hands on pear tree wood it’s great. I can’t here but living in Yakima with all the orchards, it was abundant.

I’ve not been able to find pear. It’s damn near impossible to find peach.

Nathan’s Famous for lunch, pork chops for dinner.

Had to pick up a new propane tank.

If connecting to natural gas is anywhere in the realm of possibility at your house, do it. Game changer.

Nah, my deck sits atop one of our building’s garages. So while doable, I’d have to get HOA approval as it’s a common element. Not worth it.

So how do you guys do hanger steak? I’ve got one that I’m gonna have next weekend while Mrs Wease is away and I’ve never prepared. Any tips/tricks you’d care to share?

the first thing i usually do is throw it away. the second thing is i replace it with a badass cowboy cut ribeye. the third thing is that i enjoy being a single, adult male for the weekend.
