I'm up for anything, but, my preference would be that it's not one of those Mellencamp/ Bryan Adams mid-tempo janglers that goes

my hope remains that by writing together they avoid some of the individual templates they’ve gotten a bit familiar with over time.

But Gigaton was great. Earthlings was pretty great. I have great expectations for Dark Matter

Looking forward to reading further coverage of the recording process. I'm always fascinated by the writing credits for every record, but, especially for this one, given the fresh blood; I'm wondering if the Wotmann, being the superfan he is, maybe forced them into different writing configurations, perhaps re-kindled some long since forgotten songwriting habits, sparked some new angles to pursue, etc.

Can't wait to find out. My personal hope is more duckwalk Stone, less strutting, spritzy, Shania Stone.
