Sitting here at work at 1130am and just remembered about the PJ single. Guess I'll tune it when I have lunch. Kinda sad that I'm not overly excited by new PJ these days.

The tour however is a 1000% different story. I need to see these guys play again.

They rarely play more than 5 new songs per show. And having been 10 years since their last tour here it's likely to be 5-6 between Gigaton and Dark Matter.

What if you really really really really like the other half? Sounds almost perfect. Boogie along to a few cool tunes, then its piss break and beer time. Perhaps a cheeky toke. Then back into wiggling your hips and perhaps a fist pump or two if the mood hits right. Would make for a pretty decent night imo.

Kinda weird maybe? I dunno. Are you saying you aren't interested in seeing PJ live anymore?

There are really only a few bands on my "must see" list if they are near me, PJ being one. But I don't really hold any band/artist to having a perfect catalogue tbh. There's always some stuff I either don't particularly like or haven't heard. But usually the situation of being there at a live show in the room with the artist that created the stuff that I do love, the stuff that really touched me in whatever way, listening to them play it for me, that's worth it to me. That's the magic bit.
