That’s what we get for being a little island in the North Atlantic. It’s expensive to get here with a whole touring rig and crew etc.

Still my favourite pj journey I ever did was Norway.
Ryanair lying as always. The airport was nowhere near Oslo. It was in northern Norway ffs.
And I had to get a train from whoever it was to Oslo. But it was the most beautiful brilliant solo journey I’d ever done. I was stuck to the window agape at the landscape and all the mountains. Quiet but vibrant desolation and infinite trees. I loved it.
I wonder someday soon will they do a world tour of places they haven’t played and really should. Japan and the far east. Scandinavia. Africa.

I had hoped I could make something work and get to a show this year, but I was already struggling to pull that off, and these ticket prices pushed it over the edge to impossible. I think I probably need to resign myself to the fact that I'm done seeing this band again unless they happen to come back to Jazzfest. End of an era for me. Can't believe that I make so little that I'm fully priced out of seeing them anymore.

It's a valid post, Stardog. The cost to travel outside of your own region to see them is getting too high for a lot of people.

Yeah I saw that $400 flight to Vegas and I was like … ok cool Portland it is.
