I’d like them to play Summerfest. It will be 30 years since my first PJ show, which was there at the Marcus Amphitheater.

A 2025 Vegas residency all depends on how things go in May this year and, specifically, if Ed can find a local hair plug guy that he trusts.

I’d like to see them at Summerfest. That was my first show in 95. A 30th anniversary show there and at Soldier Field would be nice. Maybe also time for Red Rocks and Gorge. I feel like the Sphere is inevitable.

And they’re retiring in 2031. PJ 40. Oz in January, East coast in spring, Europe in summer, and West coast in the fall ending in Seattle. Ticket prices for that show will make $600 seem like a happy memory.

We’ll get one more Watt album 4 years from now that feels like a lesser Dark Matter. Ed will occasionally pop up at Wrigley or in Sean Penn’s lap for a year or two before one last solo album. Everyone except Stone will make a guest appearance at a show on that tour.

This all feels right to me. I expect 10-20 shows a year between 2025 and 2030 so all of their employees are taken care of.

So about all they have left in the tank is a 6 month residency at Benaroya Hall, playing a total of 8 shows.

Nah. They’re fucking done after this tour. And maybe before. The only question is will they still record a the unit called Pearl Jam, or will they hang that up too?

I hope the touring crew are checking out their prospects this year, because next year they’re gonna have to start sending out resumes.
